Every piece of Reminded Designs jewelry is designed and handmade by Christa in her home studio in Squamish, B.C. Canada. Some of the components are sourced from reputable and ethical sources, emphasizing sustainability in mind. We use recycled metals and packaging supplies whenever possible. Christa uses techniques such as soldering, stone setting, hammering, piercing, basic assembly, wire wrapping, stamping, beading and chain maille.
Each Reminded Design jewelry piece is handmade with extra attention to detail and care. Depending on the complexity of each piece, the time it takes to make each piece varies. The range that we have so far varies between 20 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Reminded Designs jewelry pieces range in materials. We offer collections made of high-quality 92.5 Sterling Silver, 14k Gold Filled , and we also love offering affordable pieces with high-quality plating. We offer high-quality, heavy plated pieces with a protective e-coat that protects against oxidization (tarnishing or metal changing colour) for our plated pieces. We offer 18k gold plated brass as well as rhodium-plated brass. Reminded Designs plated pieces are all lead and nickel free and are a great affordable option that can last with proper care.
With proper care, your Reminded Designs jewelry is made to last. No matter what metal your jewelry is made of, all of your jewelry will keep best when stored in an airtight container or bag and kept away from the elements.
Plated metals can lose their finish due to moisture, chemicals, and even your body chemistry. So avoid exposure to water, perspiration, perfume, hairspray, oils, lotions, and tanning products.
We recommend cleaning your 14k Gold-Filled jewelry with warm water and pat dry, avoiding rubbing. 925 Sterling Silver can be cleaned by using a polishing cloth.
We love making you what you want. Depending on the design request and the time of year, we will consider customizations on a case-by-case basis. Customization fees and receipt of deposits for custom orders will be discussed and agreed upon before custom orders are made. Please reach out to us to discuss your design ideas.
Repairs happen on a case-by-case basis. Please get in touch with us with an image of your jewelry and a description of what needs repairing. Each repair is different, and sometimes repairs are not possible. Both parties will discuss and agree on repair fees if we can repair your item.
Reminded Designs will be happy to replace a single earring for you if we have a matching earring in stock. Please email us with a clear photo of the earring you need to pair. The cost to replace a single earring is 50% of the original retail price + shipping and applicable taxes.
By default, all items sold by Reminded Designs on this website are in Canadian dollars. This means that if you purchase something using a foreign payment method, you will be charged in Canadian dollars. But fear not, we ship internationally!

Yes! All orders are wrapped in tissue paper and placed in an organza bag, perfect for gift giving.
